Anyone who is expecting or has small children should read this book. Not to say that those of us without young children should ignore the debate on vaccination. Eula Biss has a wonderful writing style and her research is excellent. A quick read at only 163 pages, well worth the time.

A good read, giving insight to our fears and feelings about immunization, the risk and social benefits compared. It does not force a conclusion but causes the reader to explore their own values, while providing history and knowledge to reach a decision.

Written as though a poet, sociologist, historian, and immunologist collaborated to produce the truth -- physical and political -- of immunization and vaccination. Informative, often counterintuitive, and insightful.

I recommend this to everyone. Such a great book.

Very well written and there was a lot of information I did not know.

Eula Biss gives us a candid view of her struggles and fears as a new mom- not only about vaccinations, but about many other issues as well. She writes clearly and in a most engaging fashion about her thoughts and anxieties. This book is a good example of the journey being more important than the destination.

Very timely book. Ms. Biss has extensively researched the topic as well as make it a very personal story weaving in her own experiences, dilemmas and doubts surrounding this public health issue. not sure if I got a 2nd quality book but mine had various colors at bottom of page like production errors.. no real clear pics, everything looked blurry in book. a few versus of a story here and there. disappointed.

While the pictures in here are quite good (not fantastic), that's mostly what the book is all about. Pictures. There's no story behind each of them. It's quite pricey for pictures. I'd wait a while until it comes down in price. As for the show? It's the best show you will ever see in your lifetime. Trust me. I've seen a show or two before, and this is something special.

this book is realy poetic and beautifull. it take you fare...fare in the creations of cirque du soleil and in the peotic of the image themself.

This book gives you almost no taste of what the show is like. It is a collection of beautiful but artsy fartsy pictures, capturing the photographers style rather than this amazing show. The bad poetry dramatically inserted as captions to the pictures continues the slightly pretensious path the book took.there are only TWO PAGES at the end of the book devoted to writing about the actual show. For a show that is completely groundbreaking and unique, that is far too little. It is almost all text that is available at the cirque site (an excelent site, as opposed to this book)To see what this book could have been, take a look at the book of "Pride Rock on Broadway: Julie Taymor's The Lion King". This is a book about an amazing, one- of- a- kind show, packed with quotes from the creators, concept drawings, beautiful photographs, ideas that were cut, technical diagrams and explanations of problems that arose during production and how the team solved them. It is a book that any person, and *especially* a theater person from any discipline would love. That is the kind of book that this could have been, and it isn't.If you want an artsy collection of photographs, this is for you. Otherwise, wait till you get a chance to actually see the show - it will be worth it!

I just saw the water-themed "O" by Cirque du Soleil at the Bellagio in Las Vegas mere days ago and was utterly spellbound by the otherwordly experience. Afterwards I decided to check out the souvenir shop and perused this book there. What I found inside were a bunch of lack-luster photographs taken from the spectacular performance, but none of them actually capture the magic of seeing it happen before your very eyes, and what a marvel it is to behold upclose!In short, these images don't do the production justice! I would not recommend this to anyone who's considering buying tickets for the continuously sold-out "O" and would like to get a taste of what your in for because this may disgcourage you, and that would be a crying shame. Just trust in all the people that have raved about how amazing the show is and buy this simply as memorabilia.

Once again Keller reminds us that mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends and so on can get riled up enough to make mayhem and carnage. And that’s not even mentioning the evil creatures we don’t know that live amongst us. Reading Keller can give you a creeping feeling of paranoia. Just how well do we know our circle of acquaintances?I was particularly interested in the story of Joran Van Der Sloot, as he has been in the news so regularly in past years. Also, the number of female killers in the author’s many books is surprising.This is first class reading with Keller always starting with a paragraph that pulls you in. You keep thinking “just one more story...” and suddenly the book is finished. 4 1/2 stars!

The 18 murder cases in this volume are quite varied in time and place. As always, each one of the stories is well-written and well-researched. The crimes committed involving children are especially tragic, and it makes you wonder how messed-up a person would have to be to rape and murder a child.4

Another excellent book by Keller! I like the quick reads and short detailed stories you can pick up and continue during a busy day.

Robert Keller once again delivers a winner. His books are of the type that you never want them to end. When you feel that you're ready to put the book down for the night you have to go on to the next case.Keller has become my new favorite TC writer since we lost Ann Rule. Each of the stories are short but really contain a lot of information about the case. You can tell that he takes the time to delve into each case before he writes about it. Plus the cases are diverse and from all over the world. In his Murder Most Vile books I've read about cases from Canada, England, India and China. I can't wait for the next one!

I'm always happy when a new book in the "Murder Most Vile" series comes out. Keller is a prolific and extremely good true crime author of anthologies and some longer stand alone books. I've read all 24 books in this series and highly recommend them. Often, you'll read a chapter on a case and then be able to find a full length book like the story of Piper Rountree in "Die my Love". Keep writing and I'll keep enjoying reading!

I was immediately engrossed in this book, some of the cases I have read about and some I had not. This is a way to read about multiple crimes without reading an entire book on each one. I agree more pictures would be a plus in ebooks like they are in paperbacks, it helps to see what the perps and victims look like. I highly recommend this book.

I have read quite a few of Robert Keller's books and I like the way he presents the cases he writes about. If you like true crime presented in a straight forward style without a lot of details bogging down the story, then this author is for you.

I stated reading historical romance back in high school which was quite a few years ago since i just turned 48. I tell you this now so you will know its been quite a few years of reading these books. I love series, these books flow so well from the first page to the last, what a great read it just makes you want to go and find the next book these are so well written.This book tells stories of kings and queens and the people who serve them. The wars that were fought and the soldiers who fought those wars. White Loins Lady this story tells how of a childhood encounter becomes a lifetime love. The Black Lions Lady the story of a lady assassin I think this was most favorite and the last story Lady of Valor the story of Blackheart and Emmalyn omg you will never guess how this one ends always good but what another great story. Lara tells great stories I couldnt put it down. Love, Love, Love these books.

This boxed set includes, White Lion’s Lady, Black Lion’s Bride and Lady of Valor. If you are looking for a series of medieval knights, love, loss and hope this is the series for you! I read all three books back to back!

These stories were very full and rich in the time and place they took place in the book. Loved the rich descriptions ofthe land and buildings. The history jumped off the pages and was pretty accurate. My only reason it didn't get a 5 rating is that there were way too many pages devoted to detailed sexual encounters, which I could do without. But the love stories themselves were wonderful and full and rich.

An absolutely must read! I have just finished reading this wonderful Trilogy and loved all three books I truly hated to see it end. Three of the best most exciting love stories all different they play into each other but all could be standalone. This is my first read for this author but not my last love her style.

Set in England but thankfully not a court intrigue, I grew to quickly love and identify with these wonderful people. The three books, read in that order, comprise an insightful and personal glimpse into the late 1100's in both England and related venues. Replete with solid romance and adventure, one book flows neatly and easily into the next. I only wish that Ms Adrian had written more of this genre.

Enjoyed all the stories; You just keep routing for the underdog, maiden fair to warrior bright. You want them all to win the heart of their one true love. But they have to battle their own demons weather real or other wise. You'll fall in love with the history as well as the heroes and heroins. Good reading.

Have thoroughly enjoyed reading The Warrior Series. Lara Adrian is so adept at placing her main characters in situations that keep you anxious to find out how they will overcome apparent insurmountable obstacles and situations. Her books are well written with very likable heroes and heroines. Will continue to read more by this author.

Award winning medieval romance stories from Lara Adrian. Her writing is wonderful. Deep interesting characters, we like them right away. We care what happens to them all. Terrific plotting, sexy romantic alpha heroes. Strong, loving women. This is a very enjoyable Warrior Trilogy. You will not be disappointed. ENJOY !!
