A total waste of time. Its basically Christie saying "look at me, look at how great I am." Its a self serving, self congratulatory, pat on his own back full of nonsense.It makes you realize how much like Trump he really is. A bully, a braggart, someone who thought only he could fix it when it came to NJ. After reading this all I can think is this is his lead up to another run.

To me it’s a great compliment when someone tells me that I write like I talk… and I talk like I write. That is definitely the compliment I am giving Chris Christie. His straight from the heart storytelling of his life… is just like listening to him talk on a TV program. He shares with the reader his toughness… as well as his inner soul. From the love of his parents and family… to the hard times he had in his early marriage… pride intertwined with disappointment in how his high school baseball career wound up… to being a U.S. Attorney… hell bent on cleaning up the government in New Jersey… where in a seven year period his office would charge nearly ten percent of their state legislature.His story will grab you right from the get-go… starting off with a mano-a-mano confrontation with Trump “campaign CEO”… Steve Bannon. (Actually it couldn’t have been mano-a-mano… because each “mano” needs a spine and integrity… and only one of them… Christie… fit those requirements.) When Bannon was firing Christie from the campaign despite Christie’s heavy involvement and direction… including but not limited to… being the first major political figure to endorse candidate Trump. From there the author goes back to his childhood… his upbringing his education… his early jobs… and his almost lifetime love of politics which was originally nurtured by his Grandmother… his rise through the many branches of government… including his two terms as New Jersey Governor… and his run for President.All the names that are constantly on the news every day of our lives now… from the big to the small… and the ones we wished would disappear… from Clinton to Rubio to Conway to Manafort… to Bush(s)… to Sessions to Obama(s)… all the cabinet members… and opponents. Christie's’ wild ride includes an almost choice as Vice Presidential candidate… and consideration for Attorney General…If that isn’t enough… there is Springsteen and “SHAQ”... and a Hurricane created by Mother Nature… named Sandy… and the human hurricane named Christie… described as only Chris Christie is capable of doing! I don’t care what side of the aisle you sit on… this is a book that almost turns its own pages… once you open it up.

I have always been on the fence about Christie and in this book he won me over a bit more. I admire the work he did as US attorney and I do think he is smart. I think he is being conned by Trump and still doesn’t see him for what he is. One thing I do agree with, he spent a lot of time and effort on the transition, and all of it went into the trash. This was due to Kushner and the axe he has to grind with his father’s arrest and conviction. I also agree that Trump filled his cabinet with grifters, and crooks, look, most are now indicted, or have plead guilty. Christie does take a lot of time in the book patting himself on the back, which I am sure many of us would do. Come on, he had the lowest rating of any governor ever when he left, he couldn’t have done that without screwing up.

A straight talker, articulate, interesting even when infuriating to many. But this book is a total bore. Nothing new. A puff piece, written in a non-controversial way, so that, if he runs for office, or faces senate hearings, he hasn't insulted anybody. Sadly, Governor, you apparently ARE finished.

I’ve been a fan of Gov Christie for a long time. I loved it when he got in Rubios face during the debate and Rubio melted on stage. This book provides a real account inside the 2016 election. If you’re a Republican you’ll enjoy it. Dems will obviously give it a one star.

Stephanie Fry is an advocate, volunteer and respected member of the local and national professional community serving those with infertility. A former marketing executive turned professional infertility patient, her work in infertility advocacy began in 2010 as a Board Member and the Marketing Chair for RESOLVE New England, the largest regional infertility organization in the country. Currently she is the Director of Corporate Partnerships for RESOLVE New England and continues to volunteer as an Infertility Peer Discussion Group leader in Massachusetts, a role she has enjoyed for many years. IVF sucks! It just sucks, but this made it a little easier to keep track of all my Dr's, phone numbers, and other information. It also is written in a way that doesn't make you feel bad or judged and isn't stuffing religion down your throat. Please don't hesitate to get this book, it will be worth it, it will help. And good luck.

Thought it would be more like a personal scrapbook...but it’s more informational and honestly made me stress more.

Book is practically brand new! I was skeptical about purchasing a "used" journal-type book, but I am glad I did. It's actually quite interesting to read and very helpful to fill out. Great book. Excellent seller.

My IVF Journal just arrived and I can’t wait to start using it for my cycle!! I have already been able to fill in so many details about my schedule, medications and clinic and feel totally ready to get started. I can’t believe how much I didn’t know about my clinic and my treatment. My insurance doesn't cover IVF so the section on budgeting and tracking expenses is really helpful. Can’t wait to use the Mind and Body section too. It all looks great so far!

I tried reading the original "Dracula", already being familiar with Lugosi's Dracula, and the book was so boring I couldn't figure out how it ever became popular. Then I started listening to the Audible version which has an ensemble cast that is not just reading the text, including the wonderful Alan Cumming and Tim Curry.WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The lifeless pages I had tried reading before have now come fully to life. The actors are perfect in their roles, you can hear the heartbreak and horror in their voices. And they make you want to keep listening, even when you already know what happens next.If you are are not enjoying reading "Dracula", I highly recommend getting this audiobook version!

You know that scene in a horror movie when it gets dark and ominous music begins to play and you know that at any moment the killer is going to suddenly appear and murder everyone in a horrible fashion. That intense build up, and the anxiety of wondering exactly when you’re going to be scared, because you already know it’s coming. That’s this entire book. I had to take breaks at times to read some short stories that were a bit lighter, because the unnerving fear for the characters, as we the reader know what’s happening, could be a bit much at times. However, it’s easy to see why this is a classic, and how it has inspired others to delve into the dark world of vampires. Though, considering I’ve mainly read paranormal romance, it’s a bit disconcerting to see how the original was so completely evil. The vampires in this are soulless, not misunderstood, and kill children and anyone that gets in their way without remorse. More so, it’s incredible all the powers they are given, not just immortality and strength, but real mystical sort of powers, that I wish hadn’t been pushed off to the side in the other stories I’ve read. Beyond all of that though, I don’t believe I have ever come across a story written in this style, and it was this style that really made the tale such an intriguing one. Sure there have been plenty who have done rotating first person, but this is told in pieces of people’s diaries, the letters they’ve written to others, and even newspaper clippings. You’re getting the events after the characters have experience them and have pondered over them, as they try to understand what exactly is going on. Because of this you get to see how it all slowly melds together, and what each character really is thinking, and a much more personal aspect of the story that allows you to really feel for each of them as if these were actual historical letters that someone has stitched together. And I do so hope people were ever like this, this goodness and bravery and the way in which they talk so passionately about everything. It’s really a wonderful book. Though I would advise getting a version that has footnotes to explain certain things. Such as words that are no longer used in this way. As well as some of things that are referenced. I’m sure you could easily enjoy this book without such, but it was rather nice to have.

The story itself is a classic example of horror fiction and needs no description or criticism.However, the editing, formatting, and so-called introductions are AWFUL in this edition. Character names are misspelled (Renfield is called Enfield in the introduction .) Font size is inconsistent, page breaks are random at times. Vlad Tepes, the inspiration for Stoker's antagonist, is called Lad.A great novel ruined by what seems to be a junior high book report for an introduction.

I hear people make references to Dracula and Vlad the Impaler and vampires in general, but I never really understood the more sophisticated ones because I had never read the book - well now I can say that I HAVE! My book arrived in excellent condition- better than I expected. The cover of this book by Bram Stoker is even more beautiful than the pictures show - in fact, it is the single most colorful novel on my bookshelf. The title letters are raised off of the front cover and are coated in same metallic-blue ink, which makes it unlike any book I have seen. The plot is very exciting (even though it seems unbearably slow and boring in the beginning) and it is very difficult to predict future scenes, which is a major bonus for me because I dislike books that are too predictable. The words are just the right size and the book is extremely lightweight so you won't have to rest it on anything. It is much smaller in size than other books of the same title and is therefore extremely easy to store. In addition, in my opinion, it is always better to use hard copy printed books because you read much faster, you focus on the material easily, you will not damage your eyes like you will glaring at lcd screens, and best of all, you get to smell and feel the pages between your fingertips. Moreover, this book was the cheapest priced version I could find. Everything combines to make this an excellent product.
